Things seem to be coming together finally, slowly, slowly. Here are some more experiments produced for my dissertation body of work, depicting movement through sequential photographs.

_MG_0042Since i’ve been working on producing a body of work consisting of sequential photographs for my dissertation project work, here i created an other photo manipulation inspired by the work of Etienne-Jules Marey’s work. This time experimenting with different opacities and also black and white.

In this piece I was inspired by the work of Eadweard Muybridge and Etienne Jules-Marey. Due to the lack of technical equipment i have available i thought of reproducing this work to have similar results as obtained by the artists mentioned above. By shooting in continious mode, i took a series of photographs which captured each step the dancer produced. Later i transferred these images onto Adobe Photoshop and placed each frame into one whole image. I experimented with different opacities as to create a sense of depth in the image.
